This search engine crawls Australia's research and research related organisation webpages twice monthly and currently covers 2.5 million webpages. It was funded by DEST. The project has been discontinued but is still functional although no new content is being added.
It is an extremely useful site with which to identify potential research collaborators (and competitors).
