Welcome to Quest at Victoria University

Quest is our comprehensive research management system used to administer and support research activity at Victoria University.

The Quest system provides a number of services to researchers, including Human Research Ethics Application forms, Measurement of Research Activity (MoRA) scores, and online Progress Reports for Graduate Researchers.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I log into Quest?

To log in, enter your VU staff or student ID (ensure you include the letter 'e' or 's'), and MYVU Portal password, in the fields above, and click the Log In button.

2. Why can't I log into Quest? This is the first time I have tried to log into Quest.

Your account may need to be set up for using Quest. Please request access from the Quest Service Desk by using the Request for Access to Quest form.

3. Why can't I log into Quest? I have logged into Quest before.

The most likely cause of this is an expired password, or that the password has become unsynchronised with Quest. A password reset will fix the problem in most situations. All passwords are centrally managed by ITS. Please update your password in the MYVU Portal, call 03 9919 6100, or email servicedesk@vu.edu.au.
